December 10, 2011 Skulldog Show Presents NFL Week 14!
Hello Football Fans,
It is that time of year where we are in limbo on the college season with no games this weekend to occupy our time and it is a sole focus on the NFL. While our passion for the college game is unmatched we have gone deep on the Pro game this week for this weekend’s analysis. As always we do this for fun and for free because #1 we are good at it and #2 we believe in concepts like karma and more importantly are not money hungry d-bags like many in this industry. So with that in mind all we ask in return is that you pay it forward by telling a friend.
On to this week’s action:
Going Large:
NY Giants +3.5 over DALLAS
New England -7 over WASHINGTON
Buffalo +6.5 over SAN DIEGO
Going Medium:
TENNESSEE +3.5 over New Orleans
MIAMI -3.5 over Philadelphia
Atlanta -2.5 over CAROLINA
Going Small:
Houston +3.5 over CINCINNATI
DENVER -3 over Chicago
Oakland +11.5 over GREEN BAY
NOT GOING:
St. Louis +6.5 over SEATTLE
Heisman Prediction: While many like RGIII to come home with the hardware we at the Skulldog Show think Andrew Luck is the eventual winner. And deserrvingly so, few players have done more with litte talent around him as Luck and we think he will earn his stripes in the matchup against Ok St. in the Fiesta.

November 12, 2011 GAME OF THE WEEK STANFORD VS. OREGON
School's in Session - Skulldogshow Style!
Without question this is the one that everyone from the west coast who suffers from the debilitating east cost bias has been waiting for…. The #7 Oregon Ducks fly south to take on the undefeated and BCS hopeful #4 Stanford Cardinal.
What makes this battle unique (besides the fact that it is actually being played by two west coast teams) is that it features two of the highest scoring offenses in country who score their points in completely opposite ways.
On one end we have the speedy Chip Kelly and the Ducks who love to spread the field, create angles and utilize open spaces to exploit their competitions weaknesses. And in contrast you have the Harbaugh inspired (Shaw Coached) Cardinal who love to line up in a 1950′s style bunched power offense and run the ball down your throat.
That’s right friends it is SPEED vs. POWER on display here on the big stage with a potential BCS berth on the line.
That said, let’s break this game down as it relates to the NUMBER. Vegas has Stanford giving 3.5 in this matchup and for good reason as the Cardinal are Vegas juggernauts going 8-0 ATS this year. While the Cardinal have been cashing tickets consistently year to date the Ducks are historically solid plays against the number.
Case in point look at last year where Oregon spotted Stanford 21 in the first quarter and yet stormed back in the 2nd half and easily covered the 20 point spread. As we look to this year’s matchup we at the Skulldogshow are convinced that Stanford’s physicality up front will be too much for the Duckies to handle and Luck and crew will get the best of the Ducks. As we have seen in the season opener vs. LSU and last year’s BCS title game vs. Auburn the Ducks are vulnerable against bigger physical teams and this Cardinal team is no exception. That’s right folks we at the Skulldogshow are picking books over looks!
